A local advisor who has walked this path herself
Family Care Connection was founded in 2008 in Milford, Connecticut, after our founder personally navigated senior living placement for her own mother. Today we guide Fairfield and New Haven County families through one of the hardest decisions they will ever make.
Our Founder

I started Family Care Connection because I lived through this with my own mother. Touring communities. Comparing care levels. Trying to figure out who to trust. Watching national lead-gen sites flood our phones with calls. I remember how alone it felt.
Seventeen years later, I have helped hundreds of Connecticut families through assisted living, memory care, independent living, and crisis placements. I am a Certified Dementia Practitioner, which means memory care tours and behavioral-needs matching are conducted with formal dementia-specific training, not generic placement experience.
The thing I am most proud of is what we don't do. We do not sell your information. We do not pressure you. We do not work exclusively with any single community. We listen, we walk the floors, and we tell you what we see.

What We Stand For

Honest before salesy
If a community isn't right for your parent, we say so. If your timing doesn't make sense yet, we say that too. The recommendation comes before the placement.
Privacy by design
We do not sell your information. Ever. National lead-gen sites built a business model on that. We built ours on the opposite.
How We Work
A free service that stays free, with no strings attached
Our service is free to families. We are compensated through a standard referral arrangement with the community a family ultimately chooses, paid only after move-in. The same fee structure applies whether you use a local advisor like us or a national lead-generation site, so there is no cost benefit to going it alone.
We are not exclusively contracted to any single community. That means we can give you a candid recommendation. If you tour a community we don't have a relationship with and it turns out to be the right fit, we still help you through the move-in.
One boundary we're clear about: we do not file VA Aid & Attendance claims. We screen for eligibility and refer families to a VA-accredited attorney. We know what we do well, and we're honest about where that stops.
